Four things. 1-I had no idea how much crap hockey goalies wear or how much engineering clearly went into all of it. 2-I’m sad that my pants don’t integrate into anything. 3-You seriously look like a Transformer.
4 – What the hell do you do if you have to pee? You are wearing the biggest jock strap I have ever seen. Your legs are tied to your skates. Your pants are strapped to your chest. OMG, what do you do if you have to pee?!!
Two comments
1. All the white padding makes me think of an Imperial Storm trooper.
2. Now I know why it seems to take you no time at all to put on SCA armor; with all the hockey stuff you wear it takes no time at all to put on the SCA stuff.
3. The pee thought occurred to me too… as did the… wow.. I get to see puckeater strip….. call the media!
See? I told you the stripping part would be popular.
Only those of us who have a “premium” membership to the Puckeater movie channel get to see the rest of the layers.
Essentially you take a giant leak pre game and then procced to dehydrate yourself over the course of the match.
So how good is hockey gear for SCA armor?
And you know, I miss the Jason masks. They are cool. LOL

Regardless of the style of the skate, if any of them came easily in my size, I might actually learn to use them. I’ll have to resign myself to trying out my rollerblades again… sometime.
